Hello critical thinkers!
We have quite a few updates from the recent CT SIG Forum, as well as several upcoming events.
JALT CT SIG Forum 2022
The JALT CT SIG Forum was a big success! We had an average of fifteen attendees per session with four presenters. A big thank you to everyone who was involved.
Our officer election also took place at the JALT CT SIG AGM. All the officers were reelected. These are:
- Coordinator: James Dunn
- Treasurer: Hiroshi Nakagawa
- Program: Todd Hooper
- Membership: Wayne Devitte
- Publication: Curtis Chu
- PR: Wayne Malcolm
- In addition, Adam Pritchard became our Webmaster.
CTLL Journal Volume Nine
We are also very happy to announce that the latest volume of our peer-reviewed journal will be out this month. Please head to our CTLL page and download it for free!
Upcoming Events
DECEMBER:
Join us at the JALT CT SIG 2022 Tohoku ELT Expo event in Sendai. We will have presenters covering various Critical Thinking subjects.
Time: Sunday, December 11th, from 9:30 – 17:30.
Location: St. Ursula Eichi Elementary School.

FEBRUARY:
Join us at the 2023 JALT Hokkaido Winter Language Teaching Conference. We have three presenters, again discussing a variety of Critical Thinking related topics.
Time: February 4th and 5th (CT SIG speakers on 5th)

Location: Hokkai-Gakuen University
CALL FOR PRESENTERS CT SIG Forum:
Finally, we are now accepting proposals for presenters at the JALT PanSIG, being held May 12th – 14th at Kyoto Sango University. The deadline for CT SIG proposals will be January 10th, 2023. More information on the call for presenters will be coming to your email soon!
