With the new school year starting shortly, it is time to think about making new materials for our courses. With this in mind, the College and University Educators SIG (CUE SIG) is hosting, along with the collaboration of the Critical Thinking SIG and the Material Writers SIG, an online event called Materials-Making March. This free online event will be held on Zoom on March 26th from 15:00 to 17:00.

Critical Thinking SIG Special Presentation
The speaker for the CT SIG section of the event will be James D. Dunn. He will be presenting Extending Critical Thinking Past the Text: Strategies for Creating Supplemental Printouts that Focus on Students’ Needs. In this presentation, you will learn how to create both paper-based and digital supplementary materials that both address students’ needs in the classroom and the development of their critical thinking skills.
