Cambridge University Press Academic ELT Conference
Come join presenters from around the world talking about ELT. This conference is free and can be viewed anywhere an internet connection is available. The Coordinator of the JALT Critical Thinking SIG, James Dunn, will be presenting on Oct. 29th at 8pm (Japan time).
Presentation Title: Extending Critical Thinking Past the Text: Strategies for creating supplemental printouts that focus on students’ needs
James will be presenting on expanding textbook activities through critical thinking supplementary print creation with a method of analyzing the textbook along two dimensions and using that to create original supplemental prints for your classroom.

Hokkaido Feb. 1-2, 2020 – CALL FOR PRESENTERS
We are also excited to make our Call for Presenters at the 2020 Hokkaido JALT Chapter Winter Conference. We are looking for CT SIG members to share their methods, ideas, opinions, and research on critical thinking.
We understand that not everyone has the research budget to travel to Hokkaido for a presentation so we are going to offer a special dispensation for CT SIG members who will be traveling to Sapporo to present for us. If you have a question about this event, please contact James Dunn, the Coordinator of the SIG at: coordinator@jaltcriticalthinking.org
Presentations will be around 45 minutes each.
